One of the main goals was to get a Trac site running for DebWrt allowing us to publish all our work to the world. This includes a public SVN repository, a development wiki and a ticket/bug hunt system. Now this is all in place, it was time to get a more DebWrt main site with more “eye-candy” to it. But also allowing easy posting of news etc. Well…here it is!! :-)

I’m proud to announce that DebWrt 2.0 is final. After a lot of work, DebWrt 2.0 is finally there. Downloads available for brcm47xx boards (Asus and compatible) and for ar71xx/rspro (RouterStation Pro). Debian root filesystems available for MIPS and MIPSEL! Enjoy!

DebWrt build environment now feature complete: compile the kernel for the selected architecture, cross-compile some DebWrt specific required Debian packages using an Emdebian cross-compile environment, create a debian rootfs for the selected architecture. All this using menuconfig and some easy make commands. More info on how to download and use the build environment: Use the trac site to browse SVN sources, the wiki and see the status of bugs.

Since b43 is still after years not working stable, this might be the only way to get stable wireless. Modprobe wl and iwlist scan work. Working on getting nas software cross-compiled. More info:
