Thanks for your efforts. Is this build stable? I installed the previous one and the router could not stay on for more than 15 minutes. Also, can we have a consolidated post for steps to make it stable.

The latest build includes all fixes from this thread to increase stability. Under my current usage as a file server/asterisk box its running stable, go ahead and try for yourself and report your results.

I'm trying to run TrueCrypt on the RT-N16. I compiled truecrypt from source.
The container is created, but then pops up the error:
"Error: /proc/misc: No entry for device-mapper found. Is device-mapper driver missing from kernel? Failure to communicate with kernel device-mapper driver. Command failed"
stevester, can you add a module dm when assembling the firmware? My knowledge is not enough yet to gather the firmware.

Stevester, did you get a chance to get the plugin cleaned up? I would like to make some custom images for my e3000 and the older plugin has the bug where it can't find the root filesystem. Thanks for all your work on this project.

Join request.
And I tried to connect the UPS to RT-N16 by usb, but dmesg and lsusb do not see it.
Where could be the problem?

fedcam, does the UPS work with other linux computers? Is it possible that the RT-N16 USB port can't source enough power or that you are using a passive USB hub? I have had success using stevester's images and modules provided on the RT-N16 wiki with my e3000. I haven't had a chance to try to use the USB port on my e3000 with a USB hub to connect other devices besided my USB disk containing the root and swap filesystems. I intend to try that once I can locate my hub and will report back.

gotnone, the UPS work with other linux and windows computers. RT-N16 works with 2 flash-card, but it doesn't see a adapter of mouse or USB UPS.
update: RT-N16 works with usb hdd and flash-card. It saw USB UPS with active usb hub. It's ok.

I know I'm new here, but I've not been able to find how to get this router up and going. I've flashed the trx http://dl.dropbox.com/u/29682150/3.2/debwrt-firmware-brcm4716-squashfs-3.2-021412.trx) a few different ways, but it never DHCPs me an address, nor will it respond on 192.168.1.1 if I set my address manually.

Should the firmware function without the USB drive? I've tried it both ways, and nothing.

I should mention that I'm no stranger to OpenWRT, DDWRT, or debian, so this is most perplexing.
